I Do Not Have "run" In My Start Menu

I'm getting help with my computer here and they said to go to the start menu and type something in the "run" section

when I hit start there is nothing that says " run "

theres something that say "search".......but nothing that says "run"


I've never used it so i'm not sure why its not there

Ok, try this. Right click on the start button and go to properties. Click on the start menu tab in the window that appears. Click on the top customize button out of the two. In the window that appears click on the advanced tab. Scroll down to the bottom of the box in the middle and put a tick next to "Run Command". Click Ok. Reboot and tell me if it's there now...

yes yes yes--it worked....even before I tried to reboot it was already there.
