Scheduled Backups?

I've downloaded the system backup tool from the MS website but it never seems to work(?) I shceduled it for 7pm every Sunday but it seems its not bieng carried out. Obviously my PC must be 'on' at that time but is there any other reason its not working?

Thanks for the reply.

I didnt go that far as I was only testing it and so set it for a 'one off' scheduled back up, but it didnt happen.

If you log onto windows without a password, task scheduler might not work. If that's the case, go to "User Accounts" and assign your account a password, then try the scheduled task again. You may have to delete and recreate the task again.

Thanks.

My account is password protected and I do have to enter it to log on AND to create a scheduled event. Really confusing :s

Whoops! *school boy error alert!!* I was typing in the wrong password and the schedules were not being authorized!!! *embarrassed*
