Hello,

Last Sunday told my youngest boy that when he wants start up the pc. than get he a blue screen and when he press enter, than the pc. start up.
I say, it is the battery. When the battery is weak, than is the possibility there, that you get this sort things.
Also do I believe, that I am absolute right with my words, still want I know what other people to say.
The Computer from my son is from 2004 .

Desktop? CR2032 battery. Low cost item. 8 years old could be the battery. You can measure the voltage if you have a voltmeter should be 3volts +/- a little.

Replace and set bios defaults and see what happens.

Sent from my All-In-One Desktop. Perfect for Internet, Not for heavy usage or gaming however.

Yes I thought it so, but I was not for 100 percent sure, now I am.
But I got from my son just answer, the problem from the bluescreen and press enter is solved without that he placed a new battery.
The fact that he got a bluescreen and the message press enter and now without he did what, the problem is solved, I don't like that.
Personally do I think that the battery got an extra impuls maybe by the sun, still do I say, I take the machine from him and check his motherboard and other components.
I think that I place than a new battery.
