I can't quote it precisely but irregularly IE8 will throw up a dialog box asking me if I want to view only the secure content that a website has (and by the way, the site in question doesn't seem to matter). This occurrence seems to be random (no pattern that I've been able to discern) but it's a nuisance. Is there any way to turn off this so-called feature once and for all, please? Thanks.

"This page contains both secure and nonsecure items"
Is this the message?
If so see here: http://ask-leo.com/can_i_get_rid_of_the_this_page_contains_both_secure_and_nonsecure_items_warning.html
