Hey guys,

My HP EliteBook8560w keeps restarting when I try to shut it down. It shuts all the way down, all the lights go off and then it restarts and fires up again.Any suggestions?

Click the start orb and type in device manager, when it shows in the search results, click it.

Find your network adapter, double click it, go to the Advanced tab, and scroll down the list to and entry that says something similar to Shutdown Wake-on-LAN. Disable that.

If it looks like I know what I'm doing, there's a pretty good chance the only reason for that is because
I once asked someone to run chkdsk /r and a BC Advisor smacked me in the back of the head.
