I just bought a Sony CRX320EE DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive. It will read correctly both CD's and DVD's however it seems as though Windows doesn't recognize the CD-RW aspect of it.

I can't burn things to CD via Windows Explorer (The "Write These Files to CD" option is gone, and it won't let me copy files to a CD to be burned) or third party burning programs (Nero gave an error message that there were no RW drives).

I thought that if I updated the driver then it would work, but I can't find any driver anywhere for this model.

Is there a way to force Windows into recognizing the CD-RW aspect of this drive, or can someone tell me where to download the driver?

Go to the Sony site and see if there is a firmware update.
