I've tried following the steps in post on this site with the same issue but it didn't seem to work.

At the end of it I had trouble even getting my computer to start, it would load the desktop and freeze there.

When I click on links from a google result page it takes me to "AskTheCrew" "VIPSearchs" or other hijack related sites.

I think it may have occurred when I somehow got "Genio" tool bar I believe

Thank you so much for your help

Wow, after I downloaded Malware Bytes my computer begin to act even more erratically.

When I tried restarting it loaded the desktop but then would display a processing icon for the mouse and never allow me to load. I tried to boot in Safe Mode with Networking and it wouldn't allow me to access the internet. I then went to Safe Mode (No Networking) and was able to run the awsMBR but obviously not update. After several more restart I was finally able to load back up regular windows and the internet. What follows are the logs.

Chrome is my primary browser and is affected, but I also checked out in Firefox and the same thing happened and AVG even popped up with an alert for "claxson.in/com/forum.php?list=865ab98cd37o45ec" for Exploit Blackhole Explout Kit Detection

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== starting at Step 6. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues, what you have done to resolve them, and a link to this topic.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.

It would be helpful if you post a note here once you have completed the steps in the guide and have started your topic in malware removal. Good luck and be patient.

If HelpBot replies to your topic, PLEASE follow Step One so it will report your topic to the team members.
