How to Restore a File from the Recycle Bin

Guide Overview

The purpose of this guide is to teach you how to restore a file that you may have accidentally deleted.

How to Restore a File from the Recycle Bin

Tools Needed
  • No tools needed.
  • Please double click on the recycle bin on your desktop. It looks like this: Posted Image
  • The Recycle bin window will then appear which will display all the files you have deleted.
  • Click on the file you wish to restore.
  • Click the "Restore this Item" button on the left hand panel.
  • The file will then disappear from the recycle bin, and will return to its original location.
