I spoke with someone from microsoft who told me that the service pack would not install if my computer was on a domain. My computer is on a domain for a school I graduated from two years ago. Is there a way to remove my computer from the school's domain? Does it sound like an option worth trying or are my errors unlikely related to being part of a domain?

Greetings taylor354565,

Seems you are malware free but not system issue free. Because of the continuing inability to successfully update Windows, and now the possibly related Domain issue, it is best to refer you to the forum specializing in these types of issues. If you would like, please post a new thread in the Vista forum and refer to this thread so that they may review our efforts thus far.

Good luck!
Gary
