It's back! The spinning blue circle. My computer freezes and won't respond for minutes on end. All the while the blue circle spins. This morning it lasted for about 20 minutes until I powered down manually. I think this means that it's doing too many tasks at once. Any thoughts on how to prevent this?

Thanks.

Is there any particular situation which provokes the circle?

(For example, does it usually only happen while logging in?)

Well, it's back! Today I was working on the computer. I had Outlook, Word, Firefox, Quickbooks and iTunes open. Not an unusual situation. For some reason, when I tried to leave Quickbooks to play a different song in iTunes. Everything froze except the spinning blue circle. When I tried clicking on other programs, the screen dimmed. The blue circle spun for a minute or more and then all was well. Any idea would this could be? The wireless network appears find. No indication that there is anything wrong with it. Thanks.
