i have a text book at home.
i want to convert it into an ebook, so that i also have it as a softcopy pdf on my laptop.

so , the question is ,

how do i make it into an ebook.

note: i dont want to type all its content into a word doc, and then use a pdf converter.
i dont want to scan all the pages of the textbook.

???

If you don't want to convert it to electronic form yourself by typing or scanning, your only option would be to obtain it already published as an e-book.

You could remove it from its binding and put it into a all in one printer, and it will scan both sides and export as a pdf for you. Just let it do its thing. Aside from that, you can purchase the ebook version online.

If you are to scan it manually, use an OCR program, it detects the text and converts the scanned images into pages.
