I'm running Vista 32 bit and can't get any audio so when I play any music no sound comes out from the PC. I do hear the music if a mic is connected. I tried to uninstall the sound drivers and that did not work. Any ideas?

Thanks You-
Russ

<<I tried to uninstall the sound drivers...>>

Well...you either uninstalled the sound drivers and then reinstalled them...or you didn't, there is no try unless something prevented the uninstallation. Can you provide data as to what exactly you did and any results?

System manufacturer and model?

Did you try running the Windows sound troubleshooter?

Louis

This also happened to me.
Try this
First, you got to Control panel, go to Sound. Press the playback tab and right click and tick Show Disconnected Devices and then you'll see if it was disabled or not. I its disabled press Properties then press where it says device usage.

Done!

Sam
