I recently backed up my "stuff" with Nero BackitUP that was part of an older Nero suite. I don't know the version, but it was from about 5 years ago.

After I formatted my hard drive to get rid of a nasty trojan, I realized that I had neglected to back up that particular nero program, so now I am looking at a four inch stack of CDs and DVDs with my backed up files and I don't have the restore software. I tried the Trial version of BackitUP 11, but for some reason, it won't let me restore anything.

I have subsequently downloaded "old" versions of Nero Burn. but they always install with a message that my trial has expired.

How can I get my nero *.nco files restored? I'm willing to buy the software, but I don't see any point in purchasing BackitUp 11. Is there something else that I can buy that will restore?

Thank you.
