Hi Guys, my laptop has gone crazy whuch has me in a bit of a panic :(

Its a dell laptop running windows 7.

Basically, when I login to the homescreen about twenty popup error boxes appear stating:

"Failed to save all components for the file\\System32\\00000078. This file is corrupted or unreadable. This error may be caused by a pc hardware problem", I receive loads of these errors, the \\System32\\00000078 section varys from each error.

Then this Popup box entitled System Ckeck starts scanning the cumputer, which I stop.

Everything seems to be totally wiped from my laptop so im having a bit if freak out to be honest so any help/ advice you guys could give me would be hugely appreciated. Thanks again
