ok I am having a network problem

Computer - Acer Aspire One A0A150
OS - XP Home

the problem I am having when I go to connect It says validating identity and a bubble pops up saying Windows cant find certification to log you on to network

I have gone to advanced settings and unchecked the "enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network"

once I hit ok and ok again it kicks me off the router and I click connect and it says not connected

Router - Motorola
Security settings - WEP
Password is set

Updated the drivers Uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers

It worked on this router till about 2 weeks ago I am scratching my head on this one
