Hey guys,

This is Dipu here. I am a software engineer working with a small company in india. Recently my system was(may be still is) infected with some trojan/malware. I was using Microsoft Security essential. When the attack happend, the tool said a trojan attack. But was not able to protect/remove the trojan. I was getting somany alters on the desktop saying different files were deleted. And System check is loaded and showing RAM/Registry/Hard Disk portions were corrupted. I was not able to connect to internet too.

I have installed Combo Fix and now i am not getting those alerts. I have removed microsoft security essential and installed KasperSky internet security now on my system. I need help from your experts to analyze the logs and tell me whether any infection is still in my system. I am attaching the combo fix sacn log herewith. I am looking for your valuable support

Thanks
Dipu

Hi,

Firstly I should give you the following warning:

:exclame: You should not run ComboFix unless you are specifically asked to by a helper. Due to the power of this tool it is strongly advised that you do not attempt to act upon any of the information displayed by ComboFix without supervision from someone who has been properly trained. If you do so, it may lead to problems with the normal functionality of your computer.

It seems as though ComboFix has successfully removed the rogue. Are you having any more symptoms?

Casey
