hello! i have a trojan virus on my computer and after many attempts and various programs to get rid of it, we were instructed to get combofix. so i'm trying to do that but combofix is irritated that i am running norton and advises that i disable it. i dont know how to do that. can i get some help? thanks!

It is not advisable to run Combofix unless you have been trained in its use.

Having said that, what have you tried so far to remove the virus.

I LOVE YOU! ok...i'm not trained so how big of a problem is that? we downloaded malewarebytes which found the trojans (there's 2 or 3, the scan always comes back different) but malewarebytes doesnt seem to be actually removing the viruses, just finding them. then we got norton 360 (b/c apparently my other antivirus expired). what my computer is doing now is everytime it goes to sleep and wakes up i get the "blue screen of death" and have to restart my computer in safe mode, run the maleware, restart the computer and pray to God that it will be ok with only one scan instead of 5. so currently, we are just not turning the computer off and that seems to be working fine. we were told that turning on the computer is re-activating the viruses?
