I would like to know if any body could tell me how to get the fly out menus in windows xp home edition to get back to opening on the right instead of the left side of a menu. I know how to fix it in win7 but cannot figure it out in xp. All i could find on Google was for win7 and vista.

Thanx in advance

When you click on a menu and it expands and there is more info in one of the options there is a little triangle to let you know there is more choices, hover on the triangle and there is a fly out menu to show the added info.

I know what a flyout menu is. What specific menu(s) are you talking about.

If it's all of them I don't have an answer for you. Generally this happens when there is an item in the menu that is lengthy and the menu might be cut off (left to right) if it doesn't move it to the other side.
