Hey all-
I am trying to hook a monitor & keyboard up to my laptop for my wife (screen on laptop is too small). I can get it to show on the monitor, keyboard works, but I cant close the laptop without it going to sleep. I have gone into the control panel to change the power settings on what to do when the lid closes but it is greyed out. I am using the admin account but still cant change anything. Laptop is a Samsung RV511. Any help? Thanks.

Laptop usually comes with the Fast Start / Smart Start feature which allows the laptop to turn off when the lid is closed and quickly resume when it's opened. If you disable Fast Start or Smart Start I think the option you need will be selectable.
