I have succesfully removed viruses in the past, and have been able to use system recovery to get around an issue not too long ago, but now I have some periodic issues causing my PC to run slow at times and even giving me coniptions with opening some programs. I cannot use Mozilla because of a ruined proxy server setup, I have to go without a proxy for Internet Explorer, and my Malware Bytes program is hit and miss. (Sometimes it opens and scans, other times it gives a failure message and I have to reload it.)

Bottom line: I got stupid and visited some sites, where my SpySweeper proteced my PC, but I got hit bad going into a site for my daughters animal husbandry class. (My wife and kid watched as a photo download of a giraffe crashed the whole deal and locked me out of Mozilla.) This time System Recovery did not help, so as mentioned, I reloaded IE without the proxy sever option and have been cruising along at an OK pace until just recently, where sometimes sites take FOREVER to load and I cannot always get Malware Bytes or Hijack This to work properly or show any issues.

If I clean everything out each time I start using the PC, it works fair at best. Any ideas??
