Whenever I try to use a utility which requires a webcam, I get a message telling me that the built in webcam is not detected.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing the webcam through the 'My Toshiba' application on my computer, but whenever the installed loaded and began to work for about 2 seconds, it disappears. I went to look at the Devices section of my computer to see if anything could be done there, but I had no luck.

Other than restoring my computer to factory settings, what could I do to try and fix my webcam issue?
