Been having a problem with my toolbar. I'm using Gaim, and whenever i get a new message, the toolbar at the bottom should pop up (i have it auto-hide) and stay up until the gaim conversation window stops flashing.

Unfortunately, it does it randomly. Sometimes the toolbar will pop up and stay up until i click on the flashing convo, sometimes it will pop up then disappear a few seconds later, and sometimes it won't pop up at all (but i can still hear the convo sound).

I know there's an option somewhere to regulate what to do with active windows, or windows that "need attention", but i can't remember where to find it.

Any help would be appreciated... it's getting annoying...

Yeah, installed Beta2, but quickly un-installed it, then re-installed 1.5 (i like 1.5 better than 2.0beta2 so far)....

I am sorry that I don't know the answer except to say that my understanding is that it is a buggy program. You might have better luck going to a Gaim related website, or posting the issue here at Bleeping Computer at the Linux forum. Not sure. Sorry.
