Does closing iTunes with Task Manager when it freezes corrupt anything?

No.

However, the fact that it's freezing is something you might want to look into. That's not normal behavior.

Thanks a bunch. I already researched my issue, and it seems to be just a regular problem with iTunes.

An application freezing - even iTunes - is not normal and should be investigated. But it's your system, so it's up to you.
