Thank you to all the brains here who revealed the unhide & syslook stuff - this has been a life saver! I have an issue however ... I somehow missed the programs menus being empty and have already deleted all the temp folders .. including the one that holds the smtmp /.1-4 that so nicely restores the empty programs. Again thanks for that - it has saved my butt numerous times over multiple virus removals on multiple computers & platforms...really - THANK YOU. Anyway - in all seriousness, other than the painstaking process of doing each one indivually - is there an easier way since I took the syslook off the table when I deleted the temp files?

Well ... I downloaded to my computer & was going to email the file to my computer in back where I could transfer to a thumbdrive ... but Earthlink will not send the file I need because it says it is a virus. I know you guys are not posting viruses for us to download ..so I put it on my yahoo email & it says the links are viruses. I tried about 3 different ones .. I know they are not viruses ... but just thought I would let you know what crazy is goig on. I will log onto your site with the computer I just cleaned & download it straight and run it from there. When I scan it with my avast or with malwarebytes - they both say the file is clean ... it must be Monday! Thanks again - I knew there had to be an easier way!!
