First, let me say thank you to the volunteers here since I have been using your tools for some time.

Currently, I am supporting a 1-1 laptop program at a private school where the students own their own computers. Needless to say, they find creative ways of inviting unwanted guests into their machines and it is my job to remove them. I have machine images and can wipe them clean, but I find it easier to try to remove the malware first. If after cleaning with a few tools, the machine is still sending out unexplained packets to the world, then the machine is reimaged. I am joining the forums to gain a better understanding of the tools.
