I have a Dell Desktop computer running Win XP SP3.
Comcast is my Internet provider. The cable runs
through a modem then into a D-Link wireless router and
continues to the computer.
Recently I have been unable to connect to the Internet
with this desktop computer. However, I am still able to
connect wirelessly with my laptop.
I ran IPCONFIG /ALL with the following results:

Please run Minitoolbox from the pinned topic of Networking Section of BC. Follow the instruction from there to copy/paste the result here using the desktop computer.

What happen before the LAN connection problem? The IP configuration is not complete. Do you see any flags or mark under device manager for your network adapter?

Nothing happened that I know of. The device manager shows everything clean.

Did you connect by wired or LAN before running Minitoolbox? The Broadcom network adapter did not show any IP configuration on last post.

Use another LAN port from the router or directly connect to your ISP modem. Run again Minitoolbox. Do other machines work by wired on the same connecting LAN port?

I set my laptop next to the router and wired it to the second port. Immediately the laptop was online.

Should I install a new network card?

Which means your LAN connections are fine but not with the Desktop. Wait... Did you run Minitoolbox on the laptop and not the desktop?

I just tried a system restore of two weeks ago. That is as far back as I am able to get the system restore to work.

I then ran Minitoolbox (from the desktop) and the results are as follows:
