i'm having an issue with my laptop audio...
internal speakers and headphone jack only play left side of stereo audio. nothing from the right...
woked great till a couple days ago..

lenovo t61
win xp
soundMAX hd audion

i've looked everywhere i can think of in audio devices etc.. tried to update drivers to no effect.
any ideas for me?

i did get infected with xp antivirus 2012 a few weeks back and after killing that had an issue with cd/dvdr drive not being recognized by my system. fixed that too with help from this forum. any chance this could be a lingering after effect of the malware infection?

thanks in advance for any help!
