Not sure what the exact issue is, but this line is a clue:

Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address. . : 169.254.120.222(Preferred)

Autoconfiguration means the DHCP server (your router) is not giving your computer a local IP address (i.e. 192.168.0.15), so your computer self-assigns the 169.254.x.x IP.

What's even more bizarre is that this only happens for ethernet, not wireless. Honestly, you've already tried the things I would have suggested (reset winsock, release/renew, etc.).

My next guess would be hardware. I've seen a couple instances where a computer would not pick up an IP address and we had to have the mobo replaced (integrated NIC), which resolved the problem. I hope for your sake that's not the case, but I don't have any other good suggestions.

If its Autoconfigurating my IP to something else how can i change it to that? If its my hardware should i buy a new router? THanks.

Like I said, I'm not sure of the cause, so I can't really recommend any fixes.

Also, when I said hardware, I specifically meant your network card (where the ethernet cable plugs into on your computer).

Is there any specific reason you need to use ethernet instead of just using wireless (since it's working and ethernet is not)?

ProxyServer: proxy.comcen.com.au:8080

I wonder what this means under IE proxy settings? Have you removed this under your browser LAN settings?

I noticed the proxy server, as well, but since it is disabled, I didn't bother to look into it. I doubt it is the issue. If it was, it would be affecting wireless, too.
