Did you uninstall or use the MBAM Cleanup Utility (mbam-clean.exe), then reinstall an updated version?

Good move...that's exactly what I would have told you to do next.
I thought it might be best to post on malwarebytes website and "orubio" who is a Trusted Advisors has sent me some instructions
