Computer running vista caught a virus and for the foreseeable future is classified as dead. Western Digital Smartware automatic backup was plugged in at the time .

This has been scanned and apparently free of infections.
New computer is windows 7.
All I have done since buying the new computer is load office 2010 and firefox.

How do I get the data files, saved passwords, etc etc onto the new computer?

Is it possible to create a new user on the new computer and have the backup restore itself to there? Dont know much about this sort of stuff..help appreciated.
