I have been a long-time reader of the site. I taught myself BAISC on a TRS-80 in the 70’s and managed digital newsfeeds and designed layouts for several publications. I have also done consulting work for writers and publishers. In late 1985, I was diagnosed with end-stage heart disease and given 3 to 6 months to live. I received a heart transplant in early 1986. Today, I am retired and looking for part-time employment. I have an amateur radio license and like to help friends and family members fix their computers.

Best Regards,
Lampliter

Hi Server.exe,

Thanks for the welcome. As for the rules, I usually try to follow the rule that says before starting a new topic search to see if your problem has already been covered. I can sometimes follow the previous posts and solve my current problem. I recently tried this and was partially successful in removing an infection, but when I ran Combofix and it froze, I knew I still had serious problems so I made a new post. The problem is there is a rule saying not run Combofix until told to do so. I hope this doesn’t cause any problems.
