Hi all:

It is nice to meet you all. I am looking forward to all the good information about Window's XP and Ad ware removal.

I have Windows XP Professional. and it is really run slow and drags continually. So hope some of you professionals out there can lead me a helping hand in optimizing this computer.

I had Windows Me until a few weeks ago when I had to install XP for college courses I am taking. I knew a little bit on things to do in Windows Me to optimize it. However, in XP it is all totally different. I don't know what to turn off or leave on.

Thanks,
SeaSideAngel

Hi and Welcome SeasideSideAngel! Any questions that you have concerning your O.S., post them in the forum that applies. In your case it would be XP. Your questions would be answered sooner. Have a Great Weekend!

Welcome to BC. We are at your disposal for tech related questions, and general chat. Feel free to ask anything. In the meantime, check out the Compupedia and resources tab near the top of your page. There is a wealth of information about a variety of subjects. Allow me to do the welcome dance, in rainbow colors, just for you.
