Hello kind folks @ BleepingComputer :-)

Yesterday evening AVG popped up a threat warning regarding "Trojan horse Crypt.ANVH"
I used AVG to scan my entire system and the results were:
1 infection found "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mrxsmb.sys";"Trojan horse Crypt.ANVH";"Object is white-listed (critical/system file that should not be removed)" and
2 rootkits found "\?";"Hidden driver";"Object is hidden" "C:\WINDOWS\system32\ping.exe";"Hidden application";"Object is hidden"

AVG could not quarantine/delete or fix these problems

I then GooredFix and this is the contents of the log file:

Hmmm...every time I try to continue posting the remainder of the MiniToolbox log file, Firefox gives me the following error:

The connection was reset. The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

I'll see if this message will post...

This message posted fine...

OK...so when I try to post the Event Log Errorssection of the MiniToolbox log file I get the connection reset error from Firefox, but when I post anything else no problem...seems quite odd to me...So here is the rest of the MiniToolbox log file (minus the Event Log Errors)

So far these are the steps I have taken and I am still getting the AVG Threat Warning Notifications and ever since I installed MBAM I have been getting notifications(roughly 45 so far) of MBAM successfully blocking attempts to access potentially malicious websites (all having different IP addresses.

Any help you could send my way would be most appreciated

THANKS :-)
