I'm just wondering if I could use any 3 pin fan with my NZXT Sentry II. I plan to add 3 case fans and 1 CPU fan for a Coolermaster Hyper 212.

Now, are all fans compatible with a fan controller as long as they are the right connection?

Red LED Fans x3 - 3/4 pin
Red 200mm LED Fan - 3 pin

& my NZXT Fan controller uses molex and 3 pin

Thanks in advance.

As long as your fans use the 3 pin connector or a four pin Molex connector it appears that they will work with that fan controller as the images show both types of connector coming from it. If you go to the page you linked and scroll down to:

A Closer Look
the third and eigth image shows all the connectors coming out of it.

Hope that answer your question

BTW whats up with all the fans? You do realize that a fan controller used to lower the fan speed will also dim the LED lights on the fan as they are fed off of the same supply line as the fan motor.

if you are using a motherboard with 4 pin connectors and want the motherboard to control the fans you can try this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811995075). It is a fan controller that converts the motherboards signal for the 4 pin fans and translates it to work control the 3 pin fans.
