Hello!

My browser has been hijacked and I am in need of some help! I've been reading other post on this virus but am afraid to do anything without your help.

When I start Internet Explorer my home page is re-directed to:
a-search.biz/?wmid=3304

I cannot change the homepage.

I have used Lavasoft Adawre and "The Cleaner" to try to eliminate the problem but nothing seems to work.

I am having another problem with my desktop wallpaper. When I first contracted the virus, my desktop background read "! Protect Your Data" & "! Secure Yourself". After deleting these from my programs folder I now have a plain white screen that seems to flicker. On startup and shutdown I see my selected wallpaper behind i, but can't seem to change it.

I would appreicate your help in this matter and by reading the posts in this forum I know you guys are pretty darn good at helping people! Thanks in advance.

Freddy
