I'm posting here because my other post seems to be virus related now.

Here is my situation My link

So, I can connect to any internet connection (wired/wireless), can download Win 7 updates, and connect to IE9 64bit browser only.

I can't connect to IE9, firefox or chrome (32bit). I've run all the AV programs I can and they all turn up negative.

Yes, it's the same as before (and I guess the whole time too). Can't use any 32-bit browser at all. Only the 64-bit IE9 works. I can't update Malwarebytes, can't update Java or anything like that. I can download windows updates though and update SAS. System restores don't work and no virus's are ever found using any AV that I can think of to try. And when I try to run rkill.com or tdsskiller I get a message saying they aren't compatible with my 64 bit version of Win 7 home premium. I have tried this laptop at 3 different houses with different configurations and still no luck. This is a very strange thing as it seems like a virus but nothing at all is ever detected.

Go Start>Run (Start search in Vista and 7), type in:
cmd
Click OK (in Vista and 7, while holding CTRL, and SHIFT, press Enter).

At Command Prompt, type in:
netsh int ip reset reset.log
Hit Enter.
Type in:
netsh winsock reset catalog
Hit Enter.

Restart computer, check internet connection.
Post new FSS log.

I did that but now I can't connect at all. There is the caution triangle then unidentified network then the big X. If I connect to a different SSID, the computer will connect but only with IE9 64-bit. So still the same problems. How do I reconnect with my SSID I had before (the one you told me to reset)?

Note: I am using wireless for all my posts and testing, the computer is the same wired or wireless.

I mean my neighbors router. He letting me use his wireless right now so I can talk to you until mine works. That's what I meant when I asked you how to re-enable mine. What you told me to do, resetting and catalog my IP, has made it so I can't use my own connection anymore that's why I need to know how to fix it. I hope this makes sense.

It looks to me like a matter of correct settings but before we go there I see something what concerns me more:

Error: (01/18/2012 03:09:07 AM) (Source: Ntfs) (User: )
Description: The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable.
Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume OS.

1. Click Start, click Run, type chkdsk /f /r, and then click OK.
2. At the command prompt, type Y to let the disk scanner run when you restart the computer.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Chkdsk will run.

When I try that a cmd windows opens and closes in a split second. The same happens when I tried to do a sfc /scannow. But when I type in "cmd" on run, then right click on "cmd.exe" and run as administrator, I can do either. I don't normally have to do that ever. Maybe that is something to add to the situation.

No. That's because you're with Windows 7.
You should run those command through "cmd".

The chkdsk results were normal, it took a really long time though. Also, I still can't use my home wireless connection on any of my wireless computers and devices ever since you told me to do all the IP resetting stuff. Could you please tell me how to make it work again?
