Hello. I've had Norton Internet Security for a couple of years. One thing I've never figured out is how to set the scanning times for the computer scan. Often the scan will simply start on its own. I do I regulate the scan? I'd think there'd be a scheduler somewhere, but I can't find it.

I have NIS version 18.6.0.29.

Thanks.

I don't use Norton and not many members here at BC use it either. I checked the Norton Community forums and found this information for Norton Internet Security 2012:

NIS Scans
About scheduling scans
Editing a scheduled scan

About custom scans
Creating a custom scan

Apparently, a lot of Norton users have been complaining about NIS Scan Sceduling. See this discussion topic: NIS 2012 Scheduling (and in general) is Horrible!
