I noticed Malwarebytes was blocking an ip address with a description like "Firefox - Outgoing". I ran Malwarebytes and it didnt find a problem. So I googled some stuff and found the advice to "Run Combofix". I did. I didn't really heed any of the warnings because usually they are pretty meaningless, but I guess not in this case.

After rebooting my computer, whenever I attempt to fire up a browser i get the warning:

" <executable Path>
Illegal Operation on a registry key that has been marked for deletion"

I also get this warning with windows live mail and god knows what else. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Oh man, I simply rebooted the computer and that seems to have fixed it. I was pretty freaked for a second there. I learned not to bleep around with comboFix.
