Im using Combofix to clear out a consrv.dll virus and it is succesful at doing so but Combofix keeps deleting the whole system64 folder along with the virus. Is there a way to keep combofix from deleting this folder and any reason its doing this? I have read that combofix is no longer supposed to delete legit files and im using the most recent version, it even auto updated last time I ran it. anyway if there is a way to keep this folder from getting erased that would be amazing.
