I have been having a problem with my computer lately. I am running windows 7 and like the title says, after about a minute after bootup the taskbar changes to a greyish color and my sound is disabled. It goes away after a little 2 minutes or so. I had malware and I think I got it all removed, but the problem remains. I have also been getting blue screens after I use AVG PC Tuneup 2011 and it checks for hardware malfunctions I believe. One of the blue screens said I should run chkdsk /f , I tried that but nothing happened, a small black screen appears for a split second and goes away. The other blue screen said something about cache. The blue screens to my knowledge have only been when a program (such as AVG) makes or checks changes to hardware I think. I would really prefer not to have to reformat, but if I have to I will. PLLLLEEEEAAASSSEEE somebody help me!!!!

Thank you
