Hi everybody! I'm new to the forum and hope I am posting my intro in the right place. I heard about you guys after I got the Vista Internet Security 2012 virus in December 2011. I used another computer to do a search on Google and was able to download the reg-fixes onto external drive and per your instructions. I ran MS Security Essentials anti-virus, and then rebooted and everything has been fine. However, 3 weeks later, my browsers (Mozilla Firefox & IE v.8) got messed up and keep redirecting me to other websites every time I conduct a search using Google, and all the other search engines. I'm not sure where to post my problem just yet, but that's why I am back here looking for a solution.

Oh, and by the way - one temporary way of getting around the "redirect" browser virus, is instead of clicking on the actual links that show up, I've been clicking on the CACHE, which seems to load the website fine and w/o redirecting, but it still doesn't resolve the problem. Just an FYI :)

Thank you! I will do that! But, just one thing - as I was getting ready to check out the other forums, my computer got this BLUE screen and then shut down. apparently, whatever it is ... is getting worse ... so, I hope I can find the right place to post for help. I did make a post but did not receive a response!

Hey Budapest ... thanks so much for the heads up! I just saw Gringo's response and will be following his instructions in a couple hours. Thanks again! Mo
