Hi everyone,

My partner is having a real headache with this and has gone off, so I thought I would come here and ask if anyone can help us..!

Here is the problem:

When starting Windows in normal mode, I get the blue screen of death everytime. Event Viewer shows 0xF7_MISSING_GSFRAME_RapportEI+440d.

Here is what I have tried so far:

System restore - tried all restore points, none have fixed it.
Can't uninstall or update Trusteer Rapport.
I have disabled Rapport in Startup in msconfig and all other services and programs in msconfig except for Avira Antivirus.
I have updated all my drivers for all my devices and have disabled my DVD drive. All devices seem to be fine (no exclamation marks in Device Manager).

Here are my system specs:

Windows Vista
Acer Aspire 5710-2036

I didn't change anything I can think of recently that may have done this..

What should I do? Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Wow, I just solved it for him!

I used this from Rapport themselves: http://www.trusteer.com/book/vista-windows-7-users-uninstalling-rapport-using-safeuninstall-utility

Hope that helps some others out there.

As I asked you on another forum, how do you know you solved it? Do you mean you responded to the poster via PM? If so, in the future, please reply to post on the forum for all to see. Thanks
