I remember reading something about Indian users having their PayPal funds withdrawn automatically into their bank accounts. So I suspect that it will just stay in your PayPal account, unless until you add a bank account. I'm not sure if Indian users can use PayPal funds to make purchases.

Indian debit cards do not work with paypal. You may receive a invalid card error.I cannot guarantee if your credit card would work. There are cases where even the indian credit card failed to get accepted by paypal.

You can try

on transferring funds from paypal to your bank account
