I am glad to have found this site and figured out how to get rid of the XP virus, thank you so much. I have several problems now, which I explained on this thread http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic436886.html those are still not resolved so if you have an idea that will help I would really appreciate it!

Now I have a new additional problem that I think might be related. The infected PC is the host for my wifi and I have been able to access the internet on my laptop. But now every once in awhile I get a message from the wireless router that the password has been changed and it won't access the internet until I put it in. then it's fine.

My major problems are outlined in the above referenced thread. thanks a lot

Due to the fact that you currently have an open malware topic, previously linked to, I am closing this topic.

When members initiate a malware topic, we request that they not initiate other topics about the infected system...in different forums, This helps reduce possible confustion and conflicting suggestions/advice.

This topic is now closed.
