My computer is doing some odd things, I suspect that I may have a virus and I don't know what to do.

First, the right click is running very slow. When I right click it takes the shortcut menu 1-2 minutes to open up. Second, when I reboot it is very slow, then I get a message saying that the slave hard disk has an error and press F2 to continue - after which it will start up. Third, my CD drive will not pop open when I press the button.

I have run malware bytes and spybot, neither of which can find any viruses.

I have an HP Pavilion, only a year old. Running Windows 7.
