Last night I was infected by the Windows Recovery Virus. I ran IExplorer to stop the virus, Malwarebytes to clean it up, and unhide to restore seeing the files. I'm mostly back up accept for the start menu icons, like My Pictures, Printers, etc. Can I retrieve those icons? Thanks for any help you can give.

Please save the smtmp folder to a safe location.

Run tdsskiller and let me know if it finds any infection

Have you tried checking your start menu settings? I got hit with a virus on a Vista 32 machine that set those icons to 'not show'. I simply changed the settings back and all was good.

Startmenu icons can be restored by using default setting but you may still be missing startmenu programs.Anyway make sure to save smtmp folder to safe location. You may need it later :P

Good luck
