Laptop with no display problem

hi friends can anyone pls advice me with this laptop problem that there is no display in monitor after laptop is powered on and all power lights,hard drive lights will turns on but there will be no display...i gave the laptop to computer shop he said its a chipset problem its needs a replacement...and it costs 6500/-..so if i do repair with that much money will the problem comes again??and also plsss advice what to do with this laptop?

IMO if that is one of the laptops with the Nvidia video problems the problem will come back again.

If the repair does not involve re-balling, Not re-flowing the video chip or replacing with new motherboard most likely sooner rather than later.

More detail on make and model of the laptop will allow more precise answers.
