I'm having issues with new themes, probably just glass themes, when I open a folder, the rectangle where files should show up is blackened instead of transparent. In Gchrome the search field is black, but the start menu works fine.

What theme is that? Where did you download it from?

Perhaps show a screenshot of your 'personalization' dialog box with the theme you've selected.

If it looks like I know what I'm doing, there's a pretty good chance the only reason for that is because
I once asked someone to run chkdsk /r and a BC Advisor smacked me in the back of the head.

I don't think it matters, it seems that the problem is just the transparency option, but whatever, what I had is longhorn full glass theme.
