Helping a friend out with his laptop. He has Trend Micro on it. The first issue was the Win7 Security Virus which was supposedly removed by Trend Micro. Now it keeps popping up with the Troj_SPNR.0CA312 virus but can't clean it. I also ran Malwarebytes (newest version) that found nothing. I also ran ESET online scanner and it stated that there was a Win32/sirefef.dn memory virus. Any help would be appreciated.

Please download and run this DDS Scanning Tool. Nothing will be deleted. It will just give me some additional information about your system.

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    • DDS.txt
    • Attach.txt
  • Save both reports to your desktop.

Please just paste the contents of the DDS.txt log in your next post.

Wait for further information.
