Hi there,

We recently managed to get a virginmedia network with their superhub and 30meg fiberoptics cable.
The speed of wireless connection drops down each 30 minutes and to repair the speed it requires diagnostic which fixes router access point. I have changed security type, band, SSID, passwords, disabled routers firewall, chanels(used InSSIDer) but still having the issue.

Description . . . . . . . . . . : Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter
Manufacturer . . . . . . . . . : Atheros Communications Inc.
Version . . . . . . . . . . . : 9.2.0.458

Had older versions as well but the issue was there still.
The superhub is located `two steps` from laptop and light indications are green.
Wired connection works well but the ping is slightly higher than wireless connection - probably because of cable bought at tesco...
Superhub installs its firmware by itself though, and all my drivers are up to date - ran Driver Genius.

Have posted @ virginmedia help forum as well where you can find more information: http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Wireless/Wi-Fi-requires-resetting-all-of-the-time/td-p/932513

Bump? Still having the problem, but after some `tweaks` in wi-fi adapter settings I dont have to reset it so often.
Also after each gameplay I will have to reset it.
I made you to read this.
